Photographic Charges
The Museum charges photographic
and reproduction fees. The former will be the same
for all users but the latter will depend on the type of user
and proposed publication or broadcast. Images for
publication are provided on loan and must be returned
after use.

Batch Orders
The Museum holds a large collection of historic
(mainly glass-plate) negatives. Production of prints
is particularly difficult because specialist services and
handling procedures are required. These orders are handled
in batches. The charge for ordering a print from a single
negative is relatively expensive because the handling charge
makes up most of the cost, but this charge becomes less
significant for users ordering prints from a batch of
negatives.
Overseas Customers
Orders from overseas customers are welcome, we accept payment by credit card or by bankers draft. Please note that we cannot invoice overseas customers.
Conditions of Reproduction
It is a condition of reproduction that all photographic images be returned after use and that Reading Museum receives a copy of the publication in which a photograph appears.
