Shop and Palmers Cafe

Huntley & Palmers products sold in our shop
The Museum shop and Palmers Cafe are located just inside the Museum entrance. The shop sells a carefully selected range of gifts including Huntley & Palmers biscuits and Reading memorabilia. Palmers Cafe is open Monday to Saturday for tea, coffee, snacks and sandwiches.
Museum Shop
Our shop stocks a wide range of products for all ages and tastes, including biscuits, tins, old-fashioned sweets, traditional toys, cards, books and gifts, and there is a great choice of small pocket-money items for our younger visitors. We carefully select and even commission some stock to complement current exhibitions, making a perfect souvenir of your visit, while those interested in the Roman, Victorian or Bayeux Tapestry galleries will all find products that will appeal to them.

If you’re looking for Reading memorabilia, you'll find lots of items related to Reading - from Huntley & Palmers biscuits and tins, inspired by the town’s Victorian food heritage, to local books from the unique Two Rivers Press (named after Reading’s two rivers, the Kennet and the Thames). Postcards and prints are also available.
Feel free to browse and remember every purchase helps support the Museum's work and care for our collections.
