BRONZE AGE SWORD FROM THE THAMES

This bronze sword was made about 3000 years ago in the late Bronze Age. It was dredged from the River Thames near Queen's Ait at Bray in 1951 and is part of the Thames Water Collection looked after by Reading Museum Service.
