MEDIEVAL JUG FROM ABINGDON
This medieval jug was found in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. It was
collected in the 1890s by Dr Joseph Stevens, then honorary curator,
so was among the first objects to be collected and cared for by
Reading Museum Service.

Museum object no. 1969.12.1. (Watercolour of the finial by Joseph
