Reading Town Hall after the 1943 air raid compared with view today

Part of a momentous project to build a picture of Reading through time, this exhibition will showcase the personal photos, stories and memories of Reading’s residents from the last 200 years up until the present day.

Pinning Reading’s History is run by Historypin, the communal digital archive of the world’s history, and funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. It brings together thousands of people from across Reading’s communities and generations, to create a shared history of our town.

The exhibition is currently looking for content - your contributions can shape this unique experience.

To find out more and to add your own photos and recollections of events and personal memories around Reading go to www.historypin.com/reading or contact us.
