Currently wowing audiences around the world, Finnish string quartet Meta4 formed in 2001 and have won numerous awards including first prize in the International Shostakovich Quartet Competition in Moscow in 2004. Three years later they also won first prize in the International Joseph Haydn Chamber Music Competition in Vienna and were awarded the annual Finland Prize. They are among the most impressive of the current crop of BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists.
Part of the Classical Music Alive season, featuring a free pre-concert talk.

- Faure - String Quartet in E minor, Op.121
- Smetana - String Quartet No.2 in D minor
- Schumann - String Quartet No.3 in A major, Op.41
When:
Sunday 18 March, 7.30pm. Pre-concert talk 6.15pm - 7pm.
How Much:
Tickets £23.00, £20.50, £18.50, £14.50, £12.00. Booking fee £1.95 per ticket.
Senior Citizens and groups of 10 or more people: £2 off
Pre-booked children and students: £10
Schools: £5 each pupil, including a free programme (subject to availability)
Student Standby: £5 (available one hour before the advertised performance start time in person only at the Box Office)
