The community cases - with football exhibits
The Museum often hosts small-scale community displays, developed with local people and local groups, usually in the two 'Community Cases' in the Reading: People and Place Gallery. If you belong to a group that has a collection of objects that you think would make an interesting display, please follow the link at the bottom at this page for more information and the proposal form.

The Whitley Cup, 2011
Saturday 14 January to Sunday 25 March, in the Window Gallery
Premiered in the living room of a Whitley resident during the Whitley Arts Festival, see acclaimed multimedia artist Steve McPherson's work take on new meaning in the Museum.
Why Dusseldorf?
Tuesday 17 January to Sunday 25 March, in the Community Cases, Reading: People and Place Gallery
The friendship between Reading and Dusseldorf started immediately after the Second World War. This display focusses on the past and present of Reading Dusseldorf Association, a voluntary organisation in Reading devoted to promoting and developing friendship between the people of the two towns.
