Reading Museum Gallery Tour
Running: From: 21 Jan 2017 To: 21 Jan 2017
Venue: Reading Museum & Town Hall,
A tour led by one of our volunteer guides
Join one of our trained volunteers for an introductory tour to the galleries.
Our volunteers begin the tour with an update on the Abbey Quarter project; find out about the exciting plans to transform Reading’s Abbey precinct into a unique historical and cultural destination. This will be followed by a fascinating insight into some of the objects the Museum has on display.
Each guide offers a different tour and will pick out other items that interest them, like the man beheaded for supporting the king, the links between the Museum and the Palmer family or what was held in the huge Roman pot.
11.30pm - 12.15pm, on Saturdays
