Our Sporting Life exhibition at Henley

If you are involved in a local sport then we need your help! Do you have interesting sporting stories, photos or objects that could feature in our exhibition? Do you have sporting memorabilia you could donate for one of our Memory Boxes? If so we would love to hear from you!

The 'Bikes, Balls & Biscuitmen - Our Sporting Life' exhibition will open in May 2012. It will have two themes – national and local. The ‘national’ section illustrates historic and more recent stories of the Olympic Games with reference to the future and, notably, London 2012.

The 'local' section will provide Reading’s sporting communities with the opportunity to celebrate the story of their local ‘sporting lives’. This section is composed of sporting activities linked to clubs, societies, schools, local personalities and unsung heroes through stories and objects and is, therefore, unique to Reading.
