Teacher Interview: Question 4: Are the students expected to touch the loans when they are on display?

Conclusion: 70% (14) of 20 teachers said that their students were expected to touch the loans when they are on display. This response demonstrated the level of interaction students, teachers and parents could potentially experience with the objects on display. New loan designs should better facilitate this interaction.

Summary of findings:
21 teachers who displayed loans were asked this question. One of the teachers who used the loans for display has only had experience of loans under perspex making this question N/A. These are the responses of the remaining 20 teachers.
  • · 70% (14) of the teachers said that the students are expected to touch the loans when they are on display.
  • · 30% (6) of the teachers said that the students were not expected to touch the loans when they are on display.
