Conclusion: While ratings for the selection of loans and personal
experience of telephone and delivery contact were given high ratings by some of the 20
teachers, their experience of the catalogue and museum advertising resulted in low
ratings. The teachers found the catalogue was time-consuming and in need of visual support
while only six teachers had ever seen any publicity.
Summary of findings:
20 teachers responded to different areas depending on their experience of the loan
service.

12 teachers had telephone contact experience that was above average. Only the top 3
ratings were selected by these teachers: 333444446666
- · Catalogue
Of the nine teachers that had seen the catalogue, teachers in the main gave the lowest
three ratings to it: 112333334. The teachers found it time-consuming and in need of visual
support.
- · Delivery and pick up contact
The eight teachers that had contact with Ray during pick up and delivery were more than
satisfied with the service. They gave him the top 3 ratings: 44556666.
- · Advertising
Advertising came out as the least satisfactory area of the service not simply because the
six teachers who had seen any gave ratings mainly in the lowest three categories: 112344 -
but because nine of the teachers confessed that they had never seen any advertising from
the museum.
- · Choice of Loans Sent
19 teachers were able to give a response to this question even if it only related to their
current loan. 75% of these (14) gave the 3 highest ratings: 4444455666666; while 25% of
these teachers (5) gave lower than average ratings: 22333. Six teachers particularly
mentioned that they had been unhappy to receive loans in the past that were inappropriate.

a box mix-up. I spoke to your colleague and she tried to sort the mix-up out for me.

re-order past successes because I know it will work.

boxes and puts them by the door.
· Advertising: I see the circular but haven't seen any other advertising for the
museum or loans service.

can't have first choice. Most of the loans have been successful.
