Robert Gillmor: Retrospective
This week we have two events organised in association with the Berkshire Ornithological Club and our Robert Gillmor Retrospective exhibition. Come for a walk to look for wildfowl at Dinton Pastures, and drop in to the Museum for Birders Day – you don’t need to be an expert and there will be fun activities for children.
Reading Museum & Town Hall has achieved Volunteering England’s Investing in Volunteers standard, demonstrating our commitment to providing the best possible environment for volunteering.
Drop in during half term for lots of family friendly activities. Don't miss our special Monday opening!
Local firm SPP Pumps have agreed a major sponsorship package with the museum for promotion of this year's blockbuster exhibition, Bikes Balls and Biscuitmen: Our Sporting Life.
Reading Guild of Artists held a sale of original prints by members as part of an event celebrating the life and work of long-standing member Robert Gillmor. Robert himself was there, working on the last design for his most recent Royal Mail stamp commission!
