Celebrate Berkshire birds with Robert Gillmor and the BOC
This week we have two events organised in association with the Berkshire Ornithological Club and our Robert Gillmor Retrospective exhibition. Come for a walk to look for wildfowl at Dinton Pastures, and drop in to the Museum for Birders Day – you don’t need to be an expert and there will be fun activities for children.
Launch of ‘Reading in Living Memory’
On Friday 24 February we officially opened ‘Reading in Living Memory’, our new temporary display on Reading since 1945 funded by The Earley Charity. This will form the basis for a public consultation about changes to the museum’s current Reading: People and Place Gallery.
