You can drop-in throughout half term and enjoy art and craft activities from our popular activity cart. Don't miss Monday's Big Draw event. There are also several drop-in make and take sessions, full details are below and on our What's On pages:

Monday 29 October The Big Draw Pirate Adventure @ Reading Museum
Ahoy, me Hearties! Join us for some brilliant pirate themed drawing and craft activities throughout the Museum. Help decorate our giant boat, make your own pirate hat, doodle in our café & lots more!
All ages, 10.00am – 3.30pm
Free, drop in*

Tuesday 30 October Halloween Monsters
Create your own squashy balloon monster.
Ages 5+, Families, 1-hour sessions starting at 10.00am, 11.15am, 1.00pm & 2.15pm
£3, pay on the day, limited spaces available*

Wednesday 31 October Make & Take: Wizards’ and Witches’ Hats
Get creative to make a spooky, sparkling hat!
Families, 10.00am – 12.00pm & 1.00pm – 3.00pm
50p, pay on the day, limited spaces available*

Wednesday 31 October Tales for Tots
Join us for a Halloween themed story-time aimed at the under 5s.
Families, 10.30am – 11.30pm
Free, drop in*

Thursday 1 November Mysterious Mummies
Model a mummy complete with case and sarcophagus. A great holiday activity for older children.
Ages 7+, 2-hour sessions starting at 10.00am & 1.00pm
£7, booking essential (0118 937 3400)

Thursday 1 November Victorian Schoolroom Experience
A 45-minute experience for adults and children over 5 in our unique Victorian classroom.
11.30am, 1.15pm & 2.30pm
£1, drop in (35 places max per session)*

*Our drop-ins are very popular. Please be aware that we have limited capacity for activities during our busy half term periods.
