Terms and Conditions

1. Reading Borough Council is the "seller" and the person named on the Order Form is the "Buyer"
2. Items for sale are subject to availability
3. Every effort is made to ensure that details are correct, however colours shown may not be a completely accurate representation
4. Books are supplied at the recommended retail price
5. All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and inclusive of VAT
6. We accept payment with all of the following cards for telephone sales during the shop open hours Visa/Mastercard/Switch/Maestro
7. For UK orders we aim to deliver within 28 days. Where an item is out of stock we will inform you
8. Buyers must be 18 years old or over for postal and telephone sales
9. Property in the goods shall not pass from the Seller to the Buyer until the Buyer has paid for the price of the goods in full
10. The goods shall be delivered to the Buyer at the Buyers address. The risk in the goods shall pass to the Buyer upon such a delivery taking place
11. In the unlikely circumstances an item purchased is faulty, please return item to Reading Museum Service with date that it was purchased, name and address and we will happily send a replacement
12. The contract is subject to the law of England and Wales
