Find out about the fascinating story behind our daily bread, travelling through time from our prehistoric ancestors and up to the present day, in this community display focussing on local mills and some of the stories behind the people who were connected to them.

From Quern to Computer is a Heritage Lottery Fund-supported project run by the Mills Archive Trust, a Reading-based archive and charity that preserves records relating to mills and milling. This display uses images, documents and artefacts to reveal the stories that make up our heritage.
