Venue: Reading Museum

What

Saranjit is the artist-in-residence for our Drawing Diversity project, which is part of Reading Museum's latest exhibition, Rubens to Sickert: The Study of Drawing. He is a Birmingham-based artist with an interest in drawing and human movement. As well as drawing and dance performance art works, he has created public sculptures and large-scale animations on buildings. Saranjit is the artist-in-residence for the Drawing Diversity project based on our latest exhibition, Rubens to Sickert: The Study of Drawing.

Saranjit will be in residence in and around Reading Museum on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 June. He will be engaging with and responding to the exhibition in various ways, including working with performers to create an outdoor foot-drawing (see the Shoe-B-Do event). There is also the opportunity to join Saranjit for the bookable workshop Street Life.
