Roman Britain - Free Virtual Session for KS2 - Tuesday 1st October 2024, 13:30-14:30
In occasion of Black History Month this year we will offer a free broadcast of our Roman Britain Virtual Session which explores diversity in Roman Towns like Silchester.
In this one-hour live session we will use activities, objects, videos and photographs to bring the past to life and understand the reality of people leaving in Britain almost 2,000 years ago.
The session is disigned for KS2 children.
The broadcast will not be recorded.

Victorian Christmas - Free Virtual Session - Monday 9th December 2024
Let's celebrate a Victorian Christmas together!
You are all invited to a free broadcast of our popular Victorian Christmas Virtual Session. We will spend an hour together learning about the Christmas Traditions of Victorian times: we will listen to a carol, explore a Victorian Christmas Tree, discover the first Christmas Card and even open a cracker!!
To make sure that all children will get the most out of the session, we decided to offer 2 separate sessions, one for KS1 and one for KS2 children:
- Broadcast for KS1 children: Monday 9th December 2024, 10:30 - 11:30
- Broadcast for KS2 children: Monday 9th December 2024, 13:30-14:30
