We are delighted to start welcoming schools and other groups back to the Museum in September 2021 (subject to any guideline of course). Please contact us soon to book your visit.
School groups (and other groups) are welcome to visit the museum during opening hours to explore our galleries. All groups must book in advance. We have a range of options to support your visit such as introductory talks, trails and costume hire.
We recommend that you split your group into smaller groups to go round the museum to avoid over crowding an any gallery. Please note that some galleries may be closed for educational sessions or maintenance. If you wish to see a particular gallery please book a session or you can hire the gallery space.
Admission is free - we suggest that you make a £3 per person donation.
You can combine a free general visit with one of our (paid) sessions, follow the links on the right to find out more about our sessions or contact us for more details.
