At Reading Museum, we have always been proud to offer a wide range of exciting and immersive school sessions, enabling students to discover and learn about history in an immersive and engaging way, and offering teachers another way of exploring the National Curriculum!
Throughout the lockdown and after our reopening, our education team received many enquiries about when our school sessions would be available to book.
As of October 2020, we are delighted to now be offering a brand-new range of live, virtual sessions, adapted from (and currently in place of) the traditional museum sessions that our visiting schools and students have always loved.

To ensure that our virtual sessions are as lively and engaging as a visit to the Museum, our team combine different formats, including:
All our live sessions are accompanied by a Resources Pack created by the Reading Museum team, which contains:
We can deliver sessions on a variety of platforms managed by the Museum or directly by the schools, including:
Our hour-long sessions are £75 each, and can cover a maximum of 30 children per session.
If you have any questions, we would love to hear from you!
