Join our Jane Austen themed Abbey Gateway tour to find out about Jane’s only period of formal education which took place in the Gateway, at Reading Ladies Boarding School. Find out what the school was like and what sort of place Reading was in the 1780s. Please note that the Gateway has no step free access and there are uneven steps and floors.
