How did our ancestors survive the challenges of Europe half a million years ago? Dr Rob Hosfield will discuss the realities of life in the ‘ice age’, and explore what we can tell (and what we can’t) about our earliest ancestors from the tools and other traces that they left behind.

This event is linked to the Community Case display Earliest Europeans: How Did Our Ancestors Survive?, in association with the University of Reading Archaeology Department. Refreshments will be provided.
