What:
Back due to popular demand. Insect explorers can search for creepy-crawlies in the Forbury Gardens and Abbey Ruins with our special kits. Identify, draw and record your finds, and take a look at some fabulous insect specimens from our loans collection boxes. We will be inviting along some experts to help us with our finds!
Despite the rainy weather the bug club will be going ahead outside! Please bring your wet weather gear and join us under the gazebo. We will be offering a free bee trail and you can take a look at our insect Loans box inside the Museum afterwards.
Look out for Bug Club 2 on 22 August! (families are welcome to join us for both as the content will differ slightly)
Who:
Aimed at ages 5+ (but all welcome), families.
When:
One-hour sessions starting at 10am, 11.15am, 1pm and 2.15pm.
We advise booking in advance for this event. Please be aware that we have limited capacity for events in the Museum, particularly during our busy half terms.
