Friday 13th - Tues 17th June 2025
Venue: The Turbine House Riverside Museum at Blake’s Lock
The Liminal Clay collective is a small group of artist-makers exploring the capacity of clay to respond to personal and cultural narratives and create new space for conceptual interpretation.
The works consider the way in which inner dialogue and lived experience translate into ceramics and drawings and how the resulting objects occupy space.
Anchored by explorations in texture, form, colour and arrangement, a highly individual material interpretation emerges from the work of each artist.
The group’s experimental investigations are linked by a common thread: a search for meaning through making, testimony to the dynamic expanse of contemporary material-led practice.
Artists: Anda Albu, Bahareh Khomeiry, Caroline Eagleston, Jess Skelton, Lisa Ghiggini, Zillah Puri.
