From 16th-23rd July, Sarah Wainwright will be artist in residence at the Riverside Museum, working on her Masters project ‘Another Day's Light’.
This woven piece is made from linen that has been photographically exposed to sunlight and toned with natural plant-based dyes.
Through her work the artist explores concepts of time as non-linear, unfixed, polychronic, chaotic and subjective. This ongoing project will be shown alongside supporting and related artworks.
Visitors to the exhibition are invited to have a go at weaving on a table loom, contributing to a communal artwork which will be unveiled and displayed on Wednesday 23rd July.
