This performance marks the end of The Art of Dance From The Indian Subcontinent display in the Welcome Gallery at Reading Museum. Watch performers from Kala the Arts, a leading dance organisation that specialises in the Odissi South Asian dance form. 

Shivoham is a collaboration between choreographer Sushmita Pati and music composer Rohan Roy. Enjoy contemporary music inspired by the aura of Shiva the dancer. 

Exploring the blue god, who dwells in the mountain, and his relationship with earth. His creatures are introduced through Patachitra masks, a special art form of Odisha. A visual feast of colourful and elaborate costumes and flowing fabric, creating movement reflective of the sacred Ganges river.
