This hands-on object handling and art session at the museum is designed for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities, offering a creative and engaging experience.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore a range of museum objects, learning about their history and significance through tactile exploration.
Following this, they will take part in a craft activity inspired by the objects, using various materials to create their own unique pieces.
The session encourages creativity, sensory engagement, and a deeper connection to art and history in a supportive, inclusive environment. Participants will leave with a crafted item and a greater appreciation for the objects they’ve explored.
